Microsoft Office 2013 Consumer Preview ini terdiri dari Microsoft Word 2013, Excel 2013, PowerPoint 2013, OneNote dan Outlook 2013.
Tahun ini tampaknya Microsoft cukup gencar melakukan berbagai peluncuran produk, sebut saja tablet Microsoft Surface, sistem operasi Windows 8, Xbox 720 dan kini perangkat lunak kantoran Microsoft Office 2013.
Perangkat lunak Microsoft Office 2013 ini membawa berbagai fitur baru seperti fasilitas editing dokumen PDF, tampilan antarmuka yang baru dan optimalisasi terhadap layar sentuh.
Aplikasi baru ini mendukung input dengan stylus di tablet, fitur ini bernama inking di beberapa aplikasi. PC akan dapat bekerja dengan awan dengan biaya berlangganan untuk SkyDrive. Aplikasi Office berbasis web juga akan tetap tersedia secara gratis bersamaan dengan rilis ini dan juga kedepannya, dimana aplikasi berbasis desktop akan memiliki sistem berlangganan.
Untuk dapat menikmati aplikasi Office terbaru ini, setidaknya anda harus memiliki sistem operasi Windows 7, Windows 8, atau Windows RT (untuk tablet).
